The iconic pop culture reference to “Michael Jackson” was replaced by “Lovebirds” in the subtitles. This change could have been made to avoid potential copyright or defamation issues.

The film underwent a detailed review by a special revising committee led by theatre director Waman Kendre. This was after CBFC chairperson Prasoon Joshi insisted on a second round of review post the initial screening.
