The visit followed the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. It was part of India’s effort to show a strong stance against terrorism.

A Diverse Team Representing India

The delegation was led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda. It included leaders from different parties and regions. Other members were MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Satnam Singh Sandhu, and former Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla.

Asaduddin Owaisi’s presence showed a rare moment of unity among political leaders. Despite differences, they all came together with one message: “India First.”

Talks in Four Key Countries

The team visited Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria. In each country, they met senior leaders and diplomats. The goal was to explain India’s anti-terror operations and ask for international support.

They shared concerns about cross-border terrorism and stressed the need for global cooperation.

Strong Support from Algeria

Algeria was the last stop on the tour. There, officials clearly condemned terrorism. They assured India of full support in global forums.

Algerian leaders also spoke about the importance of peace and justice. This visit helped strengthen ties between the two nations.

India’s Ambassador in Algeria said the talks were both productive and timely.

India’s Wider Diplomatic Push

This delegation was one of seven sent to different regions of the world. The aim is to build strong partnerships and show that India will not tolerate terrorism.

The return of the team marks the end of an important phase in India’s global outreach.
