- The foundation was also laid for urban and rural road projects, including Lahartara-Kotwa, Dalmandi, Gangapur, and Babatpur corridors, as well as new overbridges at Level Crossing 22C and Khalispur Yard.

Strengthening Power Infrastructure
The Prime Minister initiated several works under the Smart Distribution Project, alongside underground electrical infrastructure worth over ₹880 crore.
- This modernization will help reduce power outages.
- It will also improve energy efficiency, ensuring reliable electricity supply for both residential and commercial areas in Varanasi.
Tourism and Cultural Heritage Revival
PM Modi launched a series of projects focused on preserving Varanasi’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
- Redevelopment of 8 riverfront Kuccha Ghats.
- Development works at Kalika Dham and beautification of Rangildas Kutiya pond and ghat in Shivpur.
- Restoration of Durgakund with advanced water purification systems.
- Foundation stone laid for Kardameshwar Mahadev Temple restoration.
- Redevelopment of Karkhiyaon, the birthplace of several freedom fighters.

Environmental and Water Projects
A major focus was placed on environmental sustainability:
- Development of an Urban Miyawaki Forest at Kanchanpur.
- Beautification of Shaheed Udyan and 21 other parks.
- Restoration and maintenance of kunds like Ramkund, Mandakini, Shankuldhara, with modern water purification systems.
- Installation of four floating pujan platforms to facilitate safe and eco-friendly rituals.
- Inauguration of 47 Rural Drinking Water Schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission to ensure clean drinking water in rural areas.

Education Infrastructure Upgrade
Education got a significant boost with:
- Upgradation of 53 school buildings within the city.
- Foundation stone for a new district library.
- Renovation of Government High Schools in Jakhini and Lalpur.

Healthcare and Medical Advancements
PM Modi’s visit also focused on strengthening medical infrastructure:
- Advanced medical equipment installations, including robotic surgery and CT scan facilities, at Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital.
- Foundation stone for a Homoeopathic College and Hospital.
- Inauguration of an Animal Birth Control Centre and Dog Care Centre to manage stray animal welfare.
