Zoho Introduces Zia LLM and No-Code AI Agents to Power Business Automation – Top15News: Latest India & World News, Live Updates

Indian tech giant Zoho Corporation has made a significant leap in the artificial intelligence (AI) space by announcing a series of powerful in-house AI tools. These include its very own Zia large language models (LLMs), speech-to-text systems for English and Hindi, an AI Agent Studio, and an MCP Server that brings interoperability across apps.

These advancements are designed to enhance productivity across departments such as sales, customer support, data analysis, and more—while ensuring data privacy, cost-efficiency, and language inclusivity.

Zia LLM: Zoho’s In-House AI Brains

At the heart of the announcement is Zia LLM, Zoho’s proprietary large language model. Developed using NVIDIA’s AI platform, Zoho has introduced three distinct models with varying parameter sizes:

  • 1.3 billion parameters
  • 2.6 billion parameters
  • 7 billion parameters

These models are 100% home-grown and fine-tuned for real business applications such as:

  • Summarizing reports
  • Extracting data from documents
  • Answering complex business queries
  • Writing and debugging code

By offering multiple model sizes, Zoho can align the AI’s capability with the specific needs of different business functions—helping reduce costs and improve performance.

“Our big AI announcement today… Zia LLM with 3 completely home-grown models… focused on various business use cases,” tweeted Sridhar Vembu, Chief Scientist at Zoho.

Speech-to-Text Models for English and Hindi

Another major milestone is the launch of Zoho’s speech-to-text (STT) models, available in:

  • English
  • Hindi

These models are engineered to deliver high accuracy even on modest hardware like low-end smartphones or laptops. The models can transcribe conversations, voice commands, or call center audio into text—ideal for automating CRM or support center workflows.

Zoho plans to roll out more Indian and European languages in the future, making the system multilingual and more inclusive for regional businesses.

Zia Agent Studio: Build AI Agents Without Code

Zoho has introduced Zia Agent Studio, a no-code platform to create custom AI assistants (agents) that can automate various business tasks. The goal is to democratize AI usage, enabling even non-technical users to benefit from artificial intelligence.

Key highlights of Agent Studio:

  • Over 700 built-in actions supported
  • Seamless integration with Zoho’s suite of products
  • Supports both open-source and commercial LLMs

Users can design agents to:

  • Respond to customer queries
  • Analyze team data
  • Generate reports
  • Manage sales pipelines

The Agent Marketplace, now live, features 25+ ready-made agents, including:

AI Agent NameFunction
Customer Service AgentRoutes and resolves customer support queries
Candidate ScreenerRanks applicants based on experience and qualifications
Deal AnalyzerEvaluates sales deals and suggests action steps
Revenue Growth SpecialistIdentifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Zoho will soon allow developers and partners to publish their own agents on the marketplace—boosting innovation and customization.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server: Unified AI Operations

To further simplify AI integration, Zoho introduced its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. This server allows AI agents to:

  • Access data and actions across 15+ Zoho applications
  • Work together seamlessly
  • Respect user permissions and privacy policies

This makes Zoho’s ecosystem interoperable, efficient, and highly customizable—without compromising on user trust or data security.

Privacy-First Approach

Zoho emphasized that none of its AI systems are trained on customer data. The models rely only on anonymized or publicly available datasets to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance. This aligns with Zoho’s long-standing policy of not monetizing user data—a refreshing stance in today’s AI-driven, data-hungry tech world.

What’s Coming Next?

Currently, these AI tools are in early access for select customers. Zoho has announced that general availability will be rolled out by late 2025.

The roadmap includes:

  • Increasing model sizes
  • Adding more Indian languages
  • Creating reasoning-capable models
  • Expanding the Agent Marketplace

Zoho’s efforts represent a Made-in-India AI revolution, bringing cutting-edge AI to SMEs and enterprises alike—without relying on foreign cloud giants.
